Bathroom and vanity unit wrapping
Bathroom wrapping covers vanity units, bath panels, bathroom cabinets and smooth tiled walls in architectural vinyl film. KWrap uses bathroom wrapping to update the look of a bathroom without stripping out tiles or furniture, keeping the plumbing and sanitaryware exactly where they are.

What can be wrapped in a bathroom?
The best surfaces for bathroom wrapping are vanity units, wall cabinets, bath panels, boxing-in panels and window sills, because they are smooth, firm and outside the direct spray of the shower. Tiled walls can be wrapped when the tiles are flat and firmly fixed, though deep grout lines may show through the film, so KWrap checks the tiles at the survey before recommending it.
Where bathroom wrapping does not belong
Vinyl film is water-resistant on its surface, but it is not a waterproof lining. KWrap does not wrap inside shower enclosures, around shower trays or on surfaces that are regularly soaked, because water standing at the edges can work under the film over time. Good ventilation helps any wrapped bathroom, since an extractor fan reduces the condensation that sits on surfaces after a shower.
Vanity unit wrapping
A vanity unit is often the quickest win in a bathroom. Wrapping the doors, drawers and side panels in a wood, stone or soft-touch matt finish, then changing the handles, can make an existing unit look like a new piece of furniture, while the basin, tap and plumbing stay exactly as they are.
Matching the rest of the home
Bathroom wrapping pairs well with door wrapping, so the bathroom door matches the new scheme, and with furniture wrapping for freestanding bathroom cabinets.

How KWrap wraps a bathroom
- 1
Survey
We check each surface, tap the tiles for any that are loose or hollow, and look at the grout lines and ventilation.
- 2
Preparation
Surfaces are cleaned of soap residue and limescale, degreased and dried, and deep grout lines are filled where needed.
- 3
Wrapping
Film is applied and heated around edges and corners, with joins kept away from splash zones.
- 4
Sealing
Edges near basins and baths are sealed so water cannot stand at the edge of the film.

Why homeowners and businesses choose KWrap
Wrapping is the whole job
KWrap is a vinyl wrapping specialist for kitchens, homes and commercial interiors. Specialism matters because a wrap is judged at its edges and corners, where film has to be heated, stretched and sealed by hand.
Days, not weeks
Most kitchens are wrapped in a day or two, because nothing is ripped out and nothing new has to be made to measure. Your existing units, plumbing and appliances stay exactly where they are.
No rip-out, no mess
Wrapping goes over what you already have, so there is no demolition, no skip on the drive and no weeks of eating takeaways while a kitchen is refitted.
Real samples, in your light
You choose from physical film samples held against your own walls, floor and worktops, because a finish on a phone screen never looks the same as film in your room.
Bathroom wrapping: your questions answered
Can you vinyl wrap bathroom tiles?
Yes, bathroom tiles can be vinyl wrapped if they are flat and firmly fixed and sit outside the direct spray of the shower. Deep grout lines may show through the film, so KWrap checks the tiles at the survey and fills grout lines where needed.
Can you wrap a vanity unit?
Yes. A vanity unit can be wrapped on its doors, drawers and side panels in wood, stone or soft-touch matt film. With new handles, an existing vanity unit can look like a new piece of furniture.
Is bathroom vinyl wrap waterproof?
Architectural vinyl film is water-resistant on its surface but it is not a waterproof lining. That is why KWrap does not wrap inside showers or around shower trays, where water stands at the edges of the film.
Will steam make a bathroom wrap peel?
Standing water at the edges of the film and poor ventilation cause more problems than steam on its own. Edges near basins and baths are sealed, and running an extractor fan after a shower helps any wrapped bathroom.
